So, my birthday is right after Corban’s birthday. I said I wanted to go to a park as a family so we packed up the kids and went to this great park with a big pond (or a little lake–whichever you prefer). We hiked around it (it was only one mile) and then had a picnic lunch! Nice and sweet… just my speed. This photo shows him sitting in one of those trendy little baby seats and yes, it’s on a table (we were right there, I promise). I don’t use it anymore because he just climbs right out of it. But perhaps I should try it again… he’s a little fatter now.

What a cute picture of Corban and what milestones he has made in this past year!…I know you are having a GREAT time having him in your lives!!! He needs to come east and spend some time with our youngest granddaughter baby Charlotte…they would have a lot of fun together! Thanks for sharing the picture and our love and prayers are with you and the family…We miss you all!
What a sweet, adorable little boy! And what a hero to spend all that time in NICU. You all deserve a huge celebration! Happy Birthday to you both. xo
We had the opposite experience — our baby was so fat we could barely squeeze him into those seats.
We took the requisite picture to show the gift givers we’d tried, and that was that.
What a great smile! I’m so glad to see Corban’s enjoying himself! Happy late birthday to both of you.
Congratulations on the birthday and congratiulations on the removal of the 23 hour-a-day helmet!
One thing to remember, Corban, even if you look different it does not make you look “funny.” So many children out there are different and none of them want to be accused of looking funny. So, remember God blessed you and your family and I wish you the best!
blessings,
Nicholas (oh, and by the way I have Down syndrome)
Amy, Corban is adorable-with and without the helmet!!! He just looks oh so happy..and a few toofers showings too, huh?
I work in an OB Dept-I have seen my share of”funny shaped heads”.
Whatever you are doing with him-keep doing it because he is certainly a very happy healthy, baby!!!

I am so happy that’s doing better now!
What a precious lil guy!!! Both my premies (more than 30 years ago) outgrew that tiny stage to become BIG young men! Good luck in the months ahead. He’ll become faster than you and eat everthing in sight!
Thanks also for the adorable clothes. I love them and know they’ll always be perfect when they arrive.
That is one cute kid! What a miracle he is! God bless him and you guys.

Hello~You baby is so cute!! My little girl Abigail also had to wear a helmet for a few months and got it off right before her first b.day. Her’s was pink. Where did you go to get it? We live in NW La. so we went to Dallas. Glad he is doing good.

How adorable! He is too cute. Sorry he had to go through all that with the helmet, but he has one of the cutest little heads now! Not to mention that adorable face. Blessings to you and your family.

Hi Amy – my baby Joseph is 6 months old. He has one of those baby seats too. However, he is 22 lbs and barely fits into it which isn’t bad because once he’s in, he’s pretty much stuck. Good luck with your beautiful baby Corban – he’s a sweetheart!! Kind regards, Kate
Hi Amy -
Congrats to Corban on his graduation from the helmet! Our son (now 2) wore one for 4 months – seemed so traumatic at the time, but so glad we did it! One thing it taught us is how kind strangers can be. People went out of their way to always come up and talk to him!
Enjoy your now even perfect-er boy! What a doll!
